EHS Training and Communications
Companies operating globally have a number of special challenges when it comes
to communication, both internally and externally. Differences in culture, the
perceived roles and responsibilities of management and employees, and differing
notions of risk and environmental and safety priorities go beyond mere language
barriers.

programmes to maximise the effectiveness of clients' EHS management systems.

environmental management, including:

international standards, such as ISO 14001 and the EU's Eco-Management and Audit
Scheme.

Internal and External Communications
Public opinion on company environmental performance can make or break
a business. Not only is communication with the local community and public at
large vital but the tools used to do so must convey the right message.
ENHESA works with clients to identify the most effective information
channels and tools necessary for successful communication inside the company as
well as outside. Our support includes:
- Drafting of corporate environmental policy statements for public dissemination.
- Data compilation and drafting of annual environmental reports for
certification under international EMS standards.
-
Design and implementation of internal information management and distribution
systems to ensure that all parties concerned in a client organisation are
regularly informed of key EHS regulatory and policy trends impacting their
business and activities.
Results
With our support, our clients are better able to bridge the
communications gap that often arises between corporate management and local
facilities regarding the reasons for, and the means to implement,
environmental and health and safety management programmes and systems.
