EHS Regulatory Consultants in Washington DC
Enhesa is looking to strengthen its team of environmental, health and safety regulatory consultants in the office in Washington DC.
Typical activities will involve research of EHS laws and regulations, contact and liaison with regulatory officials, preparation of reports to industrial companies on regulatory compliance, and EHS compliance audits.
Full-time position.
Conditions:
- Academic qualification, preferably a Law Degree.
- In-depth knowledge of US and International EHS regulations
- Professional experience in Environmental and/or Occupational Health and Safety issues.
- Good analytical and writing skills.
- Project management capabilities and extended computer literacy
- Knowledge of other languages is a major asset.
- Candidates available for international travel are preferred.

Internships
Are you doing graduate or post-graduate studies that focus on environmental law or management, and do you need to do an internship or make a thesis? Enhesa accepts up to three interns per year. Interns are assisted and guided in their research and need to make a presentation on their research results before the end of the internship. Previous subjects included: Emissions Trading under the Kyoto Protocol, Comparison of integrated permitting systems in 5 countries, EHS Law and Practice in Egypt, The importance of the work of OSPARCOM for the industrial environment, etc.
Conditions: internship in the frame of studies, fluent in English, focus on environmental law and/or management.
