She holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering and Linguistics, and a Master’s in Language Analysis and Processing. Elvira is most passionate about language technologies and how we can build ethical and responsible tools.
Elvira has been part of the Innovation team since its early days, when it had just four members. Since then, she has witnessed its growth to nearly 20 team members today. Her role involves automating processes, identifying opportunities for innovation, and researching, designing, testing, and integrating new AI tools. These contributions help the company save time and resources while staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
Elvira is particularly passionate about AI Ethics—developing ethical and responsible AI solutions that consider both human impact and environmental sustainability. Her master’s thesis focused on measuring gender bias in BERT language models, and she has also authored a blog post on bias in AI for Enhesa’s content library.
As an AI professional, Elvira believes it’s our responsibility to ensure AI systems are as transparent, ethical, and environmentally friendly as possible. In her role, Elvira strives to promote responsible AI practices within the EHS domain.
