Updated List Types and Details in SciveraLENS

We are very excited to launch some improvements that have been in the works for a long time. We know how important list screening is for your chemical assessment process and we have made several changes that should make this process even easier for you in SciveraLENS.

New list types and categorization

We cleaned up the list categories/types and recategorized which lists fit in each category so you can better flag and prioritize the chemicals that appear on lists of interest. Below is a table defining each list type and the colored triangles you might see if you have a chemical on that list type. We have also updated the names of our lists to make them more consistent and clear when choosing the lists of most importance to your work.

We recommend reviewing your assessments in your CAS RN Library, Groups, and Formulations to see if any assessment results have been updated with this change. Now would also be a great time to refresh your List Favorites and work with your Account Manager to configure your Account Favorite lists. These list favorites and the related filters can help you hone in on the lists that matter most to you and simplify your screening even more.

When viewing your Formulations and CAS RNs, you can filter by list type, making it even easier to find what you’re looking for.

We’re also working on updating the User Guide and will make sure this table is updated for future reference.

Additional List filters

When viewing all the lists we manage in the Lists menu, you’ll notice that some new filters are available, including Jurisdiction, Type, and more.

List detail cards

Toward the end of 2024, we quietly launched our List Detail cards in SciveraLENS and have been making improvements since then. We’ve finished those improvements and are excited to share them with you. You can view the List Detail cards in several places – by clicking on the list name in the Lists Index in the left-hand navigation, your Formulation Details pages, CAS RN Library assessment results, and anywhere you see list hits and details in SciveraLENS. Click on any list name to view a modal showing additional details about the list, including a description, a link to the authority/source, jurisdiction details, and more.
