How Enhesa’s Expert Services empower global leaders

Backed by nearly 30 years of partnership with global market leaders, Enhesa’s Expert Services team leverages unparalleled regulatory expertise to drive seamless project execution and superior compliance outcomes.

Imagine having a team of legal experts dedicated to unlocking the full potential of your regulatory content. That’s exactly what Enhesa’s Expert Services (ES) team delivers. They don’t just help you implement our EHS and ESG solutions — they tailor them to your organization’s unique needs, driving strategic value across your business.

With nearly 30 years of experience working alongside global market leaders, the ES team sets a new standard for expert support by applying best practices and lessons learned, backed by deep knowledge and a forward-thinking approach.

Choosing a regulatory compliance partner is often a lengthy process with many decision points, including discussions on technical capability, experience, and pricing. But the real value emerges after the decision, when the Expert Services team begins its work.

Paul Olagnier, Global Director of Expert Services, describes the team as “the Swiss Army knife of the company”.  He explains, “We do so many different things and provide so many different services, we go to where the clients need us. Our flexibility is our key strength. We know that clients have made a big commitment in selecting us and we are here to ensure that the roll out and implementation is a completely bespoke solution based on their needs. We will work closely with clients to determine their drivers and priorities and build a program to meet these needs on a peer-to-peer basis. With decades of experience embedded within the ES team, we are sure to find solutions to their specific needs.”

At the enterprise level, the ES team collaborates with clients throughout the entire contract duration. In some cases, these contracts have lasted over two decades, providing continuity of knowledge within the clients’ operations.

Typically, the partnership begins with the development and design of a support program, carefully outlining goals and priorities, identifying risks, delivering training in various languages (the ES team speaks over 12 different languages), and setting year-by-year objectives. These roles require ES team members to possess strong business acumen alongside their deep tool and content expertise, which is essential for understanding client requirements and drivers.

As Paul Olagnier states: “We have been working alongside global market leaders for close to 30 years now and can apply some lessons learned. The team itself encompasses a deep knowledge of sustainability and EHS legislation and comes from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences. Most importantly, we know how best to apply our knowledge in a practical way to support our clients’ objectives. At the core of our services is the drive to ensure that our clients are getting the best value from their investment and are utilizing the compliance intelligence we provide to support their business. We work together to populate our solutions with their data, and in this way, we assist them in supporting their risk management processes and business decisions.”

The full business package

The Expert Services team at Enhesa is a standout force within the company, functioning like an internal consultancy while also driving various aspects of the business. With strategic insights gained from working closely with clients and the market, the ES team collaborates with the Product Development team. Working alongside clients on a daily basis allows them to gain insights and provide real time feedback directly to the Product team. Their daily interactions with clients provide real-time feedback that informs continuous improvements and enhances the functionality of Enhesa’s solutions. Reporting directly to the CEO and top-tier management ensures that these insights are quickly recognized, understood, and acted upon. In essence, the ES team is crucial in future-proofing solutions, ensuring they stay relevant to clients’ needs amid the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

As Mary Foley, ES’s Strategy Director adds: “We are heavily involved with our Product, Marketing, Sales and Account Management teams, collaborating from the early presales stages of identifying the strategic direction markets and businesses are taking to ensuring our solutions meet these ever-changing needs. We’re involved in everything, from marketing and PR to regularly speaking at conferences and providing subject matter experts, all the way through to the sales stages, onboarding and retention. We are the keystone of the whole client experience cycle.”

Bespoke projects

Another significant component of the ES role at Enhesa is its consultancy practice. As Paul elaborates: “In some ways we can be seen as a business within a business. Beyond our regular responsibilities, we also take on ad-hoc bespoke projects on demand. Our mission is to respond to our clients’ needs as they arise, in addition to our defined support programs. They may have specific business needs related to topics or operational jurisdictions and we can help undertaking projects or benchmarking on their behalf. A good example is when a client needs to understand different jurisdictional exposure limits related to a particular chemical.  We compile all relevant regulatory requirements across their operations in a way that advances their business. This is where the ES team truly demonstrates its value and sets itself apart from others.”

As masters of the brand, experts in their field, and specialists in solutions, the ES team is always at the forefront of Enhesa’s offerings, understanding clients’ challenges and identifying how Enhesa can best support their strategic business objectives.
