About the ICPHSO Annual Meeting and Training Symposium

The ICPHSO Annual Symposium is recognized as the most important multi-stakeholder event in consumer product safety. Its 2026 edition promises four days of high-value learning, discussion, and networking for a wide range of participants, including:

This year’s Symposium, led by 2026 Planning Chair and Incoming President Chris Harvey, received more than 100 session proposals, resulting in a rich program of plenary sessions, breakout discussions, and roundtables that reflect the depth and diversity of today’s product safety challenges. 

The event officially begins on Monday, February 23, with a special orientation lunch for first-time attendees, followed by the opening session at 1:00 p.m., featuring: 

• Foundational Product Safety Plenary Training
• Specialized Roundtable Discussions on pressing product safety issues
• A keynote session to kick off the week 

Throughout the Symposium, attendees will dive into newly emerging issues, evolving regulatory expectations, risk assessment methodologies, and collaborative approaches to safeguarding consumers in an increasingly complex marketplace.
