Ziba Hosseini

Ziba Hosseini is a dedicated toxicology specialist with a robust environmental sciences and geochemistry background. Based in Enhesa’s Brussels office, Ziba plays a key role in the chemical assessment process, leveraging her expertise in evaluating chemicals to assist companies with compliance while addressing environmental impacts.

She contributes to regulatory updates and the integration of Enhesa’s Chemical Research, Chemical Assess, and Supply Chain Connect solutions, focusing on streamlining sustainability data for better accessibility and compliance.

In addition, Ziba develops technical content tailored to environmental, health, and safety audiences (EHS) in collaboration with the marketing team.

Ziba holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, and has previously conducted research at KU Leuven in Belgium.

Her expertise spans analytical thinking, hazard assessment, and regulatory compliance. She has extensive knowledge of biocidal and pesticide regulations, particularly under ECHA and US EPA guidelines. She is fluent in Persian, Dari, and English and continues her Dutch studies.

With her transition from academia to industry, Ziba has swiftly adapted to the toxicology field, bringing a unique perspective from her geochemistry background to Enhesa’s sustainable chemistry initiatives.
