Elisa Consoli explains that the possibility of PFAS exemptions under REACH for the A&D sector could be complicated as they would not be blanket exemptions. They would need to be substance specific and uses would need to be listed for an exemption request. These considerations combined with differing processes for jurisdictions creates a significant challenge.
